Jackie Winkelman is an award winning Melbourne based photographer who works as a commercial and fine art photographer. Influenced strongly by her background in graphic design, Jackie’s photographic work is defined by a minimalist approach and reflects a style that is graphic, stylised, somewhat surreal and is uniquely her own. Jackie’s fine art reflects her love of the urban environment and how the natural and man made environment collide creating a beautiful juxtaposition of life.
Jackie has been the recipient of many awards and recognition in recent years having been named AIPP Emerging Photographer of the Year (VPPY’S) for 2019, plus numerous awards at both the AIPP national and state awards. She has also received an honorable ‘Highly Commended’ acknowledgment in Capture Magazine‘s Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographer’s Awards in 2019 and 2020 in art and portrait.
